Overview

Composite switch is an intelligent and environmentally friendly low-voltage capacitor switching component that combines the advantages of thyristor and AC contactor. The working principle is to connect the thyristor and AC contactor in parallel, so that the composite switch has the advantages of thyristor switching at the moment of switching and no power consumption during normal contact period, which compensates for the shortcomings of thyristor and AC contactor in low-voltage reactive power compensation applications.


Product Features

Zero crossing switching: The thyristor is connected in parallel with the magnetic holding relay to achieve voltage zero crossing conduction and current zero crossing cut-off, without inrush current or arc;

Voltage phase loss protection: When the system is supplied with voltage phase loss, the switch refuses to close; If there is a phase loss, it will be automatically withdrawn;

◆ Power phase loss protection: When the working power supply is in phase loss, the switch refuses to close; If there is a phase loss, it will be automatically withdrawn;

◆ Under voltage protection: When the voltage is ≤ 20% of the rated voltage (220V), the switch refuses to close;

◆ Self diagnostic fault protection: If a component fails, it will refuse to close or automatically trip and disconnect;

◆ No load protection: The switch refuses to close when no load is connected;

Power outage protection: In case of sudden power outage after connection, it will automatically trip and disconnect.

◆ No harmonic injection: Zero crossing triggering will not generate harmonics.

◆ Low power consumption: only consumes power during the switching action, not normally

◆ Optoelectronic isolation technology: Strong anti-interference ability, safe and reliable operation.

Intelligent control technology has extremely high performance advantages in terms of surge current and safety reliability.

Disadvantages: Due to the high sensitivity of the thyristor components used in the switch to voltage change rate, their ability to withstand overcurrent is not strong, and there is a risk of breakdown. Their safety and stability are weak, especially in the case of slightly larger harmonics, they are easily damaged.
