Purpose, characteristics, and scope of adaptation

The DTSY three-phase electronic guide rail cost control intelligent energy meter (hereinafter referred to as the meter) uses microelectronics technology to measure electrical energy and complies with GB/T17215.321-2008, DL/T645-2007, and DL/T614-2007 standards. It adopts a fully shielded and sealed structure, and uses an advanced microcontroller processing system for data acquisition, processing, and storage. It has good resistance to electromagnetic interference, low self consumption and energy saving, high precision without calibration, anti-theft, high overload, long life, small size, beautiful appearance, and easy installation.

Electricity meters should be managed by computers, and electricity should be purchased first and then used. The maximum operating power can be limited within the rated current range (limited by the power supply department). The energy meter can choose RS485 communication for remote electricity sales and can automatically power off to alert users when purchasing electricity. When the battery level is zero, it automatically shuts off the power and has a certain anti-theft software design.

The DTSY series electric energy meter is suitable for measuring active energy with a frequency of 50Hz or more or 60Hz, and is installed in indoor and outdoor meter boxes for use. Suitable for environments with temperatures ranging from -30 to 80 degrees Celsius, relative humidity not exceeding 85%, and no corrosive gases in the surrounding air to avoid the effects of dust, sand, salt spray, condensation, etc.

Note: Ib is the calibration current, and Imax is the rated maximum current.


3. Start up: Under the conditions of rated voltage, rated frequency, and power factor of 1.0, the starting current of the meter is 0.004Ib for level 1 meter and 0.005Ib for level 2 meter.

4. Creep: When there is no current in the circuit of the electric meter and the voltage applied to the circuit is 115% of the rated value, the output pulse should not exceed one.

5. Power consumption: ≤ 1.5W, 10VA


Main structure and working principle

1. Main structure: It adopts PC+PBT shell, which is sturdy, sealed, and has good shielding performance.

2. Working principle diagram

An electric energy meter obtains a voltage sampling signal from a voltage divider, and a current sampling signal from a current divider. The voltage current product signal is obtained through a multiplier, and then a counting pulse with a frequency proportional to the voltage current product is generated through frequency conversion.

3. Data processing

The electric energy metering pulse is sent to the CPU for processing through a photoelectric coupler, and after calculation, it is stored in a non-volatile EEPROM. The computer management information system strictly encrypts the electricity bill to form a string, which is transmitted to the microprocessor system in the meter through the communication management machine. After being processed by the CPU, it provides display and alarm cut-off status signals.


Installation and Usage

  • 1. The electric meter must pass the inspection at the factory and be sealed with a lead seal before installation and use. If there is no lead seal or it has been stored for too long, relevant departments should be asked to re verify and seal it before installation and use.

  • 2. The electric meter should be installed in a dry and ventilated place, and the bottom plate for installing the electric meter should be fixed on a sturdy, fire-resistant, and vibration resistant wall. The height of the electric meter is about 1.8 meters.

  • 3. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram, tighten the wiring screws, and secure the connecting plate inside the terminal box.

  • 4. The reading of an electric meter connected through a transformer must be multiplied by the transformation ratio to obtain the actual amount of electrical energy.

  • 5. RS485 communication remote charging operation: The electricity sales system associates each user's energy meter address, selects the user to perform charging operation, which is convenient, fast and effective. All user data and electricity purchase information are encrypted using advanced AES technology to form messages, which are then transmitted to the electricity meter via RS485 network.

  • 6. Operation display: During normal operation of the electricity meter, it alternately displays the accumulated total electricity consumption, remaining electricity bill, and current electricity price in the meter.

  • 7. Display alarm: To prevent power outages caused by the remaining amount decreasing to zero, remind users to purchase the first level threshold amount of electricity as soon as possible. When the remaining electricity bill in the table is less than the displayed alarm amount, the display screen flashes the "alarm" symbol.

  • 8. Power outage alarm: To prevent the remaining amount from decreasing to zero and causing power outages, remind users to purchase the second level threshold amount of electricity as soon as possible. When the remaining electricity bill in the table is less than the tripping alarm amount, the display screen will show "Err-03", the relay will trip, and the display screen will flash the "tripping alarm" symbol. During the power outage alarm period, inserting the user's purchased power card or remotely controlling the power on command can immediately restore power supply.

  • 9. Overcapacity alarm: During the operation of the electricity meter, if the user continues to exceed the capacity for 10 minutes, the meter will automatically trip for 3 minutes and display the "Err-02" prompt. Automatically restore power supply after 3 minutes. Inserting the user's power purchase card can immediately restore power consumption. Optional.

  • 10. Hoarding limit: If (purchase amount+remaining amount)>hoarding limit (can be set, maximum is 999999 yuan), the purchase amount will not be read, the display screen will show "Err-08" prompt, and the card's battery level is still valid.

  • 11. Alarm prompt: During the operation of the electricity meter, if the remaining electricity bill is below the threshold alarm amount, there is a relay fault, a memory fault, or the remaining electricity bill is exhausted, the alarm indicator light will light up.

  • 12. Fault declaration: When the remaining electricity bill is displayed as zero, negative or lower than the current electricity price, if the meter continues to operate, the display screen will show the prompt "Err-06", and the user should immediately purchase electricity and proactively report the situation to the power supply department.

  • 13. Remote control function: The main station sends corresponding remote control commands for opening and closing the relay, which can perform effective relay opening and closing operations based on the remaining amount, alarm amount, and allowed overdraft amount in the table.

  • 14. Remote power protection function: The electricity meter supports remote setting of power protection function by the main station system. After setting the power protection function, the electricity meter will not be able to switch off and cut off power. The power protection function can be released. After the power protection is released, the meter will automatically process the opening and closing status based on the remaining amount in the meter.

  • 15. Settlement method: The electricity meter mainly calculates the amount of electricity used (cost control), deducting 0.01 kWh of electricity based on the unit price of electricity. The electricity price in the meter is kept to 4 decimal places, and the remaining amount is kept to 6 decimal places to ensure that the user's interests are not lost.

  • 18. Communication collection and reading function: The electricity meter has RS485 communication function, with optional baud rates of 1200bps, 2400bps, 4800bps, and 9600bps. The protocol meets the requirements of MODBUS-RTU and DL/T645-2007 dual protocols.

Warning: For the connected type of current transformer, when opening an account for use, the first step is to set the transformation ratio of the external current transformer of the meter through the electricity sales system. This transformation ratio is completed in the meter type setting interface.

In addition, the three-phase meter must select the user type as large user in the meter type setting interface.
