Overview
The DTS866 DIN rail mounted three-phase electronic active energy meter is a newly developed single-phase two-wire active energy meter by our company, which adopts microelectronics technology and specialized large-scale integrated circuits, and applies advanced technologies such as digital sampling processing technology and SMT technology. The technical performance of this table fully complies with the international standard IEC 62053-21
The relevant technical requirements for a Level 1 single-phase active energy meter are to be able to directly and accurately measure the consumption of active energy by loads in a three-phase AC power grid with a rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. This meter is equipped with a 7-digit LCD display to show functional battery levels, and has the characteristics of good reliability, small size, light weight, beautiful appearance, and easy installation. Widely applicable and convenient to set up
Features
Adopting 35mm DIN standard rail installation, in compliance with DIN EN 50022 standard, or front mounted installation, the two installation methods can be freely chosen by the user.
Width of 7 poles, compliant with DIN 43880 standard.
Adopting a 7-bit LCD display, there are two types of displays: 6+1 bit and 5+2 bit (999999.99kWh, 999999.99kWh)
The standard configuration includes passive power pulse output (with polarity), and passive remote power pulse output (without polarity) can be selected for easy connection with various AMR systems, in compliance with IEC 62053-31 and DIN 43864 standards.
It has 4 LEDs, indicating the phase power status (yellow, green, red), power pulse signal (white), and 1 yellow COM for RS485 communication indication (only with 485 function).
Optional Rs485 function
It has RS485 communication function and can be connected to RS485 communication network for remote meter reading and centralized management. The standard configuration communication protocol complies with DL/T645-1997 or Modbus RTU standards.

Installation and Usage
Before use, the lead seal of the electric energy meter should be checked for integrity. For electric energy meters that are not sealed or have been stored for too long, they must be re inspected by a metrological authorization agency before installation to ensure measurement accuracy.
The electric energy meter should be installed indoors in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding direct exposure of strong light to the meter window. The bottom plate of the electric energy meter should be placed on an insulated object that is not easily affected by moisture, and it is recommended to install it at a height of 1.8 meters or more.
The electric energy meter should be wired according to the shell wiring diagram, and attention should be paid to the current size and the matching of the wires. The joint terminals should be suspended tightly to avoid damage to the instrument when the current is too high.
The voltage connected to the energy meter should comply with the reference specified value of the energy meter, and the current passing through should not exceed the maximum current limit shown on the energy meter. Exceeding this range will result in inaccurate measurement, and in severe cases, it may cause instrument damage and safety accidents.
When connecting an electric energy meter with specifications of 10 (40) A or above, copper core leads and copper connectors should be used for connection.
Transportation and Storage
The transportation and unpacking of electric energy meters should not be subjected to severe impacts. Measures for transporting precision instruments should be taken, and transportation and storage should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T15464-1995 "General Technical Conditions for Instrument Packaging".
The electric energy meter should be stored in its original packaging box, in a clean location with an ambient temperature of -25 ℃ to+70 ℃, a relative humidity not exceeding 85%, and the air should not contain harmful substances that can cause corrosion.
This product is a precision electronic instrument. If there are obvious signs of damage to the outer shell due to severe impact or falling from a high altitude during product handling, use, or installation, please do not power on the electric meter and contact our company as soon as possible for handling.
If the electric energy meter is not installed or used for a long time, it should be packaged properly and stored in its original box for no more than three years.
