Purpose, characteristics, and scope of adaptation
The DDSY single-phase electronic rail prepaid energy meter (hereinafter referred to as the meter) uses microelectronics technology to measure electrical energy, which complies with the GB/T17215.321-2008 and GB/T18460.3-2001 standards. The meter adopts a fully shielded and sealed structure, and uses an advanced microcontroller processing system for data acquisition, processing, and storage. It has good resistance to electromagnetic interference, low self consumption and energy saving, high precision without meter calibration, anti-theft, high overload, long life, small size, beautiful appearance, and easy installation.
Electricity meters should be managed by computers and used after purchasing electricity. The maximum operating power can be limited within the rated current range (limited by the power supply department). One card, one meter, dedicated card, no power loss after card loss, can be used after card replacement. Electric cards can transmit data bidirectionally and automatically power off to alert users when purchasing electricity. When the battery level is zero, it automatically shuts off the power and has a certain anti-theft software design.
The DDSY series electronic energy meter is suitable for measuring active energy with a frequency of 50Hz or more or 60Hz, and is installed in indoor and outdoor meter boxes for use. Suitable for environments with temperatures ranging from -35 to 80 degrees Celsius, relative humidity not exceeding 85%, and no corrosive gases in the surrounding air to avoid the effects of dust, sand, salt spray, condensation, etc.

Note: Ib is the calibration current, and Imax is the rated maximum current.
3. Start up: Under the conditions of rated voltage, rated frequency, and power factor of 1.0, the starting current of the meter is 0.004Ib for level 1 meter and 0.005Ib for level 2 meter.
4. Creep: When there is no current in the circuit of the electric meter and the voltage applied to the circuit is 115% of the rated value, the output pulse should not exceed one.

Main structure and working principle
1. Main structure: It adopts PC+PBT shell, which is sturdy, sealed, and has good shielding performance.

An electric energy meter obtains a voltage sampling signal from a voltage divider, and a current sampling signal from a current divider. The voltage current product signal is obtained through a multiplier, and then a counting pulse with a frequency proportional to the voltage current product is generated through frequency conversion.

3. Data processing
The electric energy metering pulse is sent to the CPU for processing through a photoelectric coupler, and after calculation, it is stored in a non-volatile EEPROM. The information system is managed by a computer, and a certain amount of electricity and monitoring requirements are written into the IC card input table through an IC card reader/writer. After being processed by the CPU, the microprocessor system provides display and alarm cut-off status signals.
Installation and Usage
1. The electric meter must pass the inspection at the factory and be sealed with a lead seal before installation and use. If there is no lead seal or it has been stored for too long, relevant departments should be asked to re verify and seal it before installation and use.
2. The electric meter should be installed in a dry and ventilated place, and the bottom plate for installing the electric meter should be fixed on a sturdy, fire-resistant, and vibration resistant wall. The height of the electric meter is about 1.8 meters.
3. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram, tighten the wiring screws, and secure the connecting plate inside the terminal box.
4. The reading of an electric meter connected through a transformer must be multiplied by the transformation ratio to obtain the actual amount of electrical energy.
5. One table, one card: The IC card held by the user cannot be exchanged. In case of loss, a replacement card should be purchased from the power supply department (sales office).
6. Electricity purchase operation: When selling electricity, insert the IC card into the IC card reader and operate the computer to form a package of user information and electricity purchase information using advanced AES encryption technology and write it into the IC card.
7. Charging operation: Insert the power card into the card slot. If the power card is valid, the meter will automatically read the data into the meter.
8. Operation display: During normal operation of the electricity meter, it alternately displays the remaining electricity bill, cumulative active total electricity consumption, bureau number, meter constant, voltage, current, power, and electricity price in the meter.
9. Display alarm: To prevent power outages caused by the remaining amount decreasing to zero, remind users to purchase the first level threshold amount of electricity as soon as possible. When the remaining electricity bill in the table is less than the displayed alarm amount, the alarm light flashes.
10. Pull off alarm: To prevent the remaining amount from decreasing to zero and causing power outages, remind users to purchase the second level threshold amount of electricity as soon as possible. When the remaining electricity bill in the table is less than the alarm amount for tripping, the display screen shows tripping and the alarm light flashes. Inserting the user's power card during the power outage alarm period can immediately restore power consumption.
11. Overcapacity alarm: During the operation of the electricity meter, if the user continues to exceed the capacity for 10 minutes, the meter will automatically trip for 3 minutes.
12. Communication function: The electricity meter has RS485 communication function. Complies with the requirements of DL/T 645-2007 "Communication Protocol for Multi functional Energy Meters" and the Chinese power industry standard DL/T 698-1999 "Technical Conditions for Centralized Meter Reading System for Low voltage Power Users".
